The Future Trunks arc in Dragon Ball Super is in full swing, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the anime's upcoming episodes. With Zamasu and Black Goku's alliance confirmed, the Z fighters and their allies are finally able to properly prepare for the villains.

Zamasu to Kill Gowasu To Acquire Time Ring, Potara Earrings?

One thing that fans of Dragon Ball Super noticed about Future Zamasu is the fact that he wears a Green Potara earring, much like his master, Gowasu. Green Potara earrings are only given to full Kaioshins, and Zamasu, being an apprentice, does not have one yet.

Gowasu also owns a Time Ring, the same type of item that Black Goku has in his hands. With these factors in mind, it would be safe to assume that Zamasu would kill Gowasu in the present. Episode 59, Protect the Kaioshin Gowasu, Destroy Zamasu! gives a pretty good preview of the anime's upcoming twists.

Beerus to Personally Get Involved?

With Zamasu's threat becoming more and more prominent, there is a very good chance that Beerus, the God of Destruction himself, would get personally involved. Considering that Zamasu is already tampering with time and that he is already committing a grave crime by possibly attempting to kill his master, Beerus might have more than enough reasons to get involved in the fight.

However, Beerus is practically a Deus Ex Machina to the Dragon Ball Super franchise. Thus, it would most likely be far too easy for Beerus to simply kill Zamasu and Black Goku without any effort. He is, after all, a God of Destruction.

Beerus to be Neutralized by Zamasu and Black Goku?

This is Dragon Ball, however, and if there's anything that fans truly know, it is the fact that the ones who started the fight, the Z fighters, would be the ones to end it as well.

With this said, there is a huge possibility that Zamasu and Black Goku would probably find a way to neutralize Beerus' power. In previous episodes, it was said that Kaioshins are linked to Gods of Destruction, in the way that if one dies, the other perishes as well.

Would this be a loophole that Zamasu and Black Goku can capitalize on? Either way, one thing is sure. The Future Trunks arc in Dragon Ball Super is bound to only get better.
