"Supergirl" season 2 fans may have not yet gotten over the Superman episodes but the creators decided to blow minds even more with new superheroes appearing in National City. Will viewers get to see Superboy fly alongside the red-caped heroine, too?

"Supergirl" season 2, episode 3 did not only guest the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, but also revealed that there may be a few more superheroes that may join Kara (Melissa Benoist) in her quest to fight evil in her beloved city.

The episode has finally revealed who the alien in the spaceship that crashed is - Mon-El. For those who are not exactly DC savvy, Mon-El (Chris Wood), just like in the CW series, is from Daxam. However, in the comic book version, Mon-El was discovered by the young Clark Kent, who trained him to harness his abilities.

Given that the show is about "Supergirl" and that Kara was the one who found Mon-El, the latter will be trained by the National City superheroine, instead. Although Mon-El is an entirely different character from Superboy, there might be a chance that in this TV verse, the Daxamite might assume the said superhero moniker as the story progresses. Maybe before the season ends, fans of the show will be treated to not just one or two "Super" but three.

Meanwhile, it is not only Mon-El's addition that avid viewers should watch out for. "Supergirl" season 2 revealed M'gann M'orzz in the latest episode, as well. In the comic book verse, M'gann or Megan, her human name, is a member of the Teen Titans, a group of young superheroes who help the Justice League.

Megan, at first, pretended to be a Green Martian to hide her true identity from Martian Manhunter. In the CW series, it also would seem that Megan would like to make Hank believe she is just like him. It should be noted that Green and White Martians fought each other until all life forms in the planet were destroyed.

There is only one reason why Megan would flee after seeing Martian Manhunter at the bar, because she is of the White species and she fears that if he finds out, he might wage war against her.

It is interesting to note how the addition of these new superheroes could affect the show that centers on Kara-El. Here's to hoping that the creators don't stuff the story with too many superheroes that the focus on "Supergirl" will be forgotten.
