On the May 13 episode of Dancing with the Stars, Karina Smirnoff earned her first perfect score the day after she was admitted to a local hospital for injuries she suffered during Sunday's rehearsals.

Smirnoff and her dance partner, 2013 Super Bowl winner Jacoby Jones, landed a total of 30 out of 30 points for their tango routine. DWTS judge Tonolio said the "sexual tension was unbearable" and that he will be taking a cold shower afterward. Len Goodman, the show's harshest critic, said their tango was "right on the money." Their second dance, a lindy hop, also earned a high score of a combined 29 out of 30 points.

A source revealed that Smirnoff was rushed to the emergency room after she hurt herself during their rehearsals on May 12.

"Yesterday, during rehearsal, while executing a flip, Karina landed on Jacoby and fell flat," a source told E! News. "She was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital, where it was discovered that she had a severe strain to her neck, as well as jaw tissue damage and misalignment of her jaw, while experiencing excruciating pain. She is in a neck brace. She was treated and released last night."

A rep for the hit ABC show confirmed the report, saying "we can confirm Karina was injured during rehearsal yesterday and was taken to the hospital as a precaution."

Zendaya Coleman garnered her second perfect score of the season after performing her favorite style, hip-hop, which she dances every week on Disney Channel's teen favorite Shake It Up. The teen's first dance, a quickstep, was dubbed "a mess" by DTWS judge Carrie Ann Inaba. Coleman earned the second lowest score of the night, 25 out of 30 points, for a performance deemed "too fast."

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough earned their first perfect score for their Argentine tango. Goodman called it "fantastic" and Tonolio called it "superb." Their second dance, the flamenco, received a favorable total 28 out of 39 points.

Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas also earned their first perfect score for their rumba and then a 29 out of 30 points for their afro jazz. Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson earned the night's lowest score of 24 out of 30 for their samba routine and 27 out of 30 for their Charleston dance.

Who will be eliminated week 9? Fans will learn on Tuesday, May 14, during this week's Live Results show, which will air at 8/7 p.m. Central on ABC.
