Kanye West Ill: Rapper Checks Out Of UCLA Medical Center, Is He Better? [VIDEO]
The rapper checked out of UCLA Medical Center on Wednesday
Kanye West is officially home and out of the hospital after checking out of UCLA Medical Center yesterday after a little more than a week of being kept under observation for exhaustion.
The rapper had been in the hospital since November 22, when he was taken there after what appeared to be a breakdown at his trainer's house, just one day before the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour had been canceled, and he has exhibited bizarre behaviors at other shows, often going on political rants.
After his hospitalization, his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner said he had been dealing with a lot of stress lately as well as a grueling schedule for his tour, and that the behaviors were simply a result of his not getting enough rest.
"He's exhausted. He's just really tired," she said. "He's had a grueling tour and it's been a grind, so he just needs to rest."
It has been reported that the schedule, as well as stress were in fact the things that sent the rapper to his breaking point. Most specifically, it's been reported that he and his wife, Kim Kardashian, had been arguing because ever since she was attacked and held at gunpoint in Paris back in October, she had become more reclusive while he was becoming more paranoid.
Other theories suggested that he was having a hard time coping since November is always a hard month for him since his mother, Donda West, passed away on Nov. 10, 2007, while recovering from plastic surgery. According to the L.A. Times, he never properly mourned her death, which makes the month so difficult. Combined with the stress of what happened to his wife and his tour, it allegedly led to him cracking a bit.
