Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been fighting back against rumors their marriage has been in trouble for months, but it appears that those stories were all ones which may have been distracting everyone from the alleged truth-that they were adopting a son together from India.

According to a report in Woman's Day Magazine (via The Sun), the couple, who have been married for ten years, have been keeping the news very close to their chests and only telling a select few people, but have begun the process of getting a little boy from India that they want to call their own.

"Nicole has been dancing around the topic in public," a source said. "But privately she's told friends she and Keith have already begun the process."

The pair are already parents to two daughters, Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 6, who was born via surrogate. Kdiman also has two adopted children, Isabella, 24, and Connor, 21, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.

The pair have been dealing witha large number of rumors about the state of their marriage in recent months, with reports initially claiming they hadn't seen one another in months, followed by others which claimed they had checked into a marriage rehab program as well.

Urban has addressed the rumors, calling them "rubbish" and "not true."

"The fact that we live somewhere where we are not being photographed all the time, the fact that we are not documenting every single thing that we do as a family, we are very private people, it makes you-it makes it possible for people to make up that stuff because you are not always there to defend it," he said at the time. "But then you get angry, 'Like why do I have to defend this?' The people who come and see us they don't read that stuff. It is gibberish."
