Nintendo Classic Mini NES has been very in-demand last holiday season, leaving Nintendo problematic about the device's stocks. Now, the said shortage has been addressed and that the Japanese tech giant is already developing SNES Mini for this year's holiday season.

According to Daily Star, Nintendo has just revealed its extraordinary Nintendo Switch console, but in an interview with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, he also talked about the shortage of Nintendo Classic Mini NES stock over Christmas. And when he was asked about the severe scarcity of stock for the Classic Mini NES, Fils-Aime said that Nintendo relatively did not predict the demand would out-step the supply.

President Reggie Fils-Aime stated, "When we looked at that proposition what we believed was the adults, 30-40 years old, who grew up playing NES as a kid, 10 years old or so but had stepped away from the gaming category-that was going to be the buyer." Luckily, he also said that Nintendo has made steps to resolve the issue by saying that the deficiencies have been "largely addressed."

As a refresher, the Nintendo Classic Mini NES is patterned after the original console, but then it fits into the palm of the user's hand. It is pre-installed with 30 built-in games, including Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man 2, Castlevania and lots more. Unluckily, however, it also arrived with a tediously short controller cable, which means its users have to sit certainly close to the TV to play.

Furthermore, iTechPost has learned that as of this moment, it has been publicized that Nintendo is already in the works for developing an upcoming SNES Console planned for this year's holiday season. With that being in line, together with the Nintendo Switch, hitting the market shelves, it seems like the NES Classic would again be left out-of-stock until Nintendo clears out its programs.

It is really good news that Nintendo is doing all the efforts to eradicate the scarcity on Nintendo Classic Mini NES. Also, the company is opting to release another console, the SNES Mini that will surely get the interest of its patrons this upcoming holiday season.
