Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphone and specs of the said device have been spotted on Geekbench 4. Device listed has been seen running on Android 7.0 Nougat. 

The results on the benchmarking site Geekbench shows the J7 running on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is also said to be powered by 2.21 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 2GB RAM.

Earlier reports have said that the smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display (1280 x 1080 pixels), 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It will be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, as per Indian Express.

The listing on the benchmarking database reveals that the model number of the imminent Samsung handset is SM-J727P.  The smartphone has also recorded a benchmark score of 889 and 4200 for single-core and multi-core performances, respectively.

The listing shares that the 2017 Galaxy J7 houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which is clocked at 2.21 GHz with 2GB of RAM. This is the only information that can be gathered by the benchmark listing.

The 2016 edition of the Galaxy J7 sports a metal frame and run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The spec of the 2016 Samsung Galaxy J7 includes a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display and 4G LTE support. Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) is also backed by a 3,300 mAh removable battery, which is higher than the rumored 2017 model that is said to have 3000 mAh battery.

It is powered by an Exynos 1.6Ghz octa-core processor and coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via card slot). On the camera 2016 model has 13MP main camera with a f/1.9 aperture and 5MP front camera. The smartphone comes with front LED flash for selfies also.

There is no confirmation from Samsung on the rumored device; however, we will have to wait for an official announcement by Samsung to get clarity on its specs and features.
