Although FX's Sons of Anarchy Season 6 is still a considerable amount of time away from its fall return, that hasn't stopped its loyalists from scouring the Internet for the latest dirt on their favorite bikers over in Charming.

The most recent scoop has former The Shield standout CCH Pounder joining the cast in a what's said to be a recurring role, according to Entertainment Weekly.  The actress will reportedly be coming on board to play the part of a San Joaquin County District Attorney who ends up having to deal with certain members of SAMCRO, which surely won't bode well for Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and the rest of the club.

Pounder is the second notable female addition to the cast for the upcoming season, following Deadwood's Kim Dickens, who will play a powerful and seductive madame.

Sons of Anarchy is set to premiere its sixth season on Sept. 11 at 10/9 p.m. Central on the FX network.  Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the gritty TV series.
