The much-awaited desktop from the Cupertino-based company is anticipated to become available in March this year. Dubbed as iMac 2017, the said device is believed to sport awesome specs like 10 3.0 USB ports, AMD Polaris 10 GPU, VR support and a lot more.

According to International Business Times, the upcoming iMac 2017 is predicted to hit the market shelves in March. Also, the company's patrons wanted the S-series desktop chips in the 27-inch Apple iMac even though it appears like there is only a little upgrade for the 21.5-inch iMac.

Meanwhile, the 27-inch iMac is believed to be equipped with 32GB RAM and 2TB Fusion Drive. It was also noted that the 27-inch Apple iMac 2017 appears to be engineered with Core i5-7500, Core i5-7600 or the Core i7-7700K. But then, speculations are also high that Apple may also go for an AMD Polaris 10 graphic unit for the iMac 2017 along with a 5K display.

Additionally, iTechPost has learned that the iMac 2017 might have support for VR technology. Another prominent speculation about the upcoming desktop from Apple Inc. is that it can be armed with 10 USB 3.0 ports which are six more that the current iMacs have.

It can be remembered that Apple rolled out a new iMac back in 2015 when the Cupertino-based tech giant upgraded its small desktop line with Retina screen. Meanwhile, the bigger models have been engineered with Skylake processors. Since then the company's avid fans have been supposing a new iMac will be launched with upgraded features and of course stunning specs.

As for the price, the upcoming 27-inch iMac with 32GB of RAM and 2TB Fusion Drive will be tagged at $3,199.99. The desktop is predicted to be announced in March, but as of the moment, Apple Inc. hasn't confirmed that information. But then one thing is sure, Apple has great desktops in roadmap as it was also affirmed by Apple's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Cook.
