Chris Brown may be in trouble for a possible hit and run that could revoke his probation, TMZ reported Monday.

On May 21, Brown was involved in what initially appeared to be a fender bender  in Los Angeles as he drove his Range Rover with girlfriend Karrueche Tran and rear ended a Mercedes. At the time, he exchanged his contact information with the driver of the other car. However, the Los Angeles Police Department opened a probe about the accident because it is believed that Brown may have allegedly refused to give the other driver his licence's number and gave her incorrect insurance information.

According to the site, Brown also had an attitude for the woman when she pressed the matter. Given Brown's refusal to give all his information, the car accident triggered an investigation for hit and run and could jeopardize his probation.  In 2009, Brown was convicted for assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna and sentenced to community service and given the strict order to obey all laws. If there's probable cause that Brown broke the law by leaving the scene of the incident without fully disclosing information required by law, he could be sentenced to jail for four years.

Brown's car accident  is just the latest matter that to involve the police. On May 10, The Los Angeles Times reported that many of Brown's neighbors were upset with what he considers art. The pop star has massive paintings of monsters in neon colors and whose eyes pop out.  His neighbors alleged that not only does Brown's interpretation of art ruin the décor of the Hollywood Hills neighborhood but that the children are now scared.

"There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall," Patti Negri said.

Negri is the President of the Hollywood Dell Civic Assn. Negri said she had no issue with having celebrities as neighbors. However, she took exception to Brown disrupting the quiet of the residence. She said that the community was already at their wit's end over the loud parties that Brown throws and driving his cars at fast speeds. Brown's artwork is just the latest aggravation between the two sides.

"Chris himself did not warm himself to the neighborhood when he first got here, so this is kind of the straw that broke the camel's back," Negri said.

According to Brown's lawyer, the singer had no intention of removing the offensive monster art.

"They've called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here," Mark Geragos said.
