Huawei P10 & P10 Plus Release Date, Specs Leaks: MWC 2017 Launch Confirmed [Video]
Huawei is reportedly planning a big reveal for MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress), and it will be the Huawei P10 & P10 Plus. The latest rumors suggest that the phone will come in new colours, which include green and purple, but will be more expensive than the Huawei P9.
The reliable source Ricciolo has tweeted saying the price of the Huawei P10 & P10 Pluswould be particularly high. He mentioned in his tweet that it would be "the most expensive P device ever" so we can expect those prices to rise above the Huawei P9 level.
There are many leaks surfacing on the net suggesting that Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will have a unique design, having a "Dream" logo and odd wording on the back case. However, the shape and number of features bear similarity with the last year's P9.
The leaks show that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will have similar body design, which is a flat solid metal body design while the latter has a curved body design. Both have the same characteristics, featuring fingerprint and camera sensors with the first still only a rumor at the moment.
The Chinese Twitter, Weibo has also claimed that Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will have two new colours i.e. green and purple. These colours will be available alongside the regular black silver and purple options. However, there's still no confirmation from Huawei regarding this rumor.
Another leak says out information that the Huawei P10 & P10 Plus will feature the latest Kirin 965 chipsets and a 12MP RGB sensor with a 20MP monochrome sensor which will be OIS enabled, together with a 40W fast charge. A leaked benchmark suggests that it can have a 1440 x 2560 screen. It could also be set to grow, from 5.2 inches on the P9 to 5.5 inches.
Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will have a dual rear camera as its predecessor, P9 and run on latest Android 7.0 nougat and Huawei's EMUI 5.0. Moreover, users also want these mobiles to come with an Amazon's Alexa voice assistant and Google Services.
The fingerprints sensor will be placed on the front near the Home button. The pocketlint suggests he same information that the internal storage of Huawei P10 and P10 Plus can go up to 256GB with the first, coming in 4GB RAM/32GB, 4GB RAM/64GB as well as 6GB RAM/128GB variants and the latter features 4GB RAM/64GB and 6GB RAM/ 128GB options.
This price of Huawei P10 & P10 Plus will be 4,998 Yuan ($725) and 5,688 Yuan ($828) respectively. Both devices are expected to be announced in China. Huawei P10 & P10 Plus release date or unveiling date will be during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Feb. 26. As this will be the only time for techies as major smartphone companies like Nokia, Samsung and LG to launch their respective flagship models.
