"God of Ware 4" is anticipated to hit the market shelves in December this year as a well-known retailer, Amazon hinted the release. The much-awaited game is also reported to be exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro respectively.

According to PlayStation Universe, "God of War 4" launch was yet to be revealed by the Japanese tech giant; Sony. But then, Amazon already listed the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro exclusive on its site for pre-order.

It is really noticeable that some of the retailers tend to put games into their pages with placeholders for release dates, thus the consumers are advised to take this with skepticism. Moreover, Amazon listed the "God of War 4" as being obtainable on December 29, 2017.

The "God of War 4" 2017 release is also parallel with what was posted on the official PlayStation Germany Twitter account earlier this year. They ran a poll for PlayStation 4 player's most awaited game of 2017 which includes "God of War", "Horizon Dawn Zero" and "Red Dead Redemption 2." So if "God of War 4" launch is really slated this 2017, it's very likely to happen during the latter part of the year.

For reference, SegmentNext stated that "God of War" has been one of PlayStation's flagship series. Also, it hasn't launched any main series in several years after the company had unveiled "God of War: Ascension" for the PlayStation 3 way back in 2013. Nevertheless, Sony has delivered the fans remasters and re-releases which have kept the series going. The "God of War 4" will still be the first new release in more than a few years.

Also, considering several gameplays and story changes that have been presented on the sneak peek offered by Sony Santa Monica at last year's E3, it really appears that the "God of War 4" will be delivering an experience that the patrons would have wanted to try. Moreover, the fans still have to wait until December for them to have a taste of the forthcoming video game exclusively offered for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
