The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has been roaming around the internet for quite some time but at this moment, these speculations and anticipations can now be buried as the GPU is already launched. Even though the GTX 1080 Ti has been quoted as more powerful than the hefty priced Titan X Pascal GPU, the newest chipset from NVIDIA is tagged at a reasonable price.

According to Ars Technica, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will hit the market shelves next week. Though the newest GPU from NVIDIA is faster compared to Titan X Pascal it is tagged at an affordable price of $699.

When it comes with the specs, NVIDIA asserts that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is around 35 percent faster than the its predecessor; the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. This scenario also made the newest GPU slightly faster than the Titan X Pascal.

The speed difference is not that surprising since the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is somewhat identical to the Titan X. Both of these chipsets have the same GP102 GPU, with 3,584 stream processors and 224 texture units divided across six graphics processing clusters and 28 SMs.

Moreover, the only modification that gives the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti a slight edge over the Titan X Pascal is its memory configuration. The GTX 1080 Ti boasts a rather odd 11GB of GDDR5X memory resulting to a 352-bit memory boundary and 88 ROPs as an alternative of the 12GB of GDDR5X, 384-bit interface, and 96 ROPs of the Titan X.

Aside from that Ubergizmo stated in its article that, it is also less the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is also less power hungry at 220 watts compared with the Titan X that requires 250 watts. Although, there is just a little modifications with the GTX 1080 Ti it is still affordable on its price which is almost half of the Titan X Pascal's value.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti which was tagged at $699 will become accessible on March 10 with pre-orders beginning on March 2. With the price of GTX 1080 Ti, it is assumed that the regular GTX 1080 will have its price slashed at around $500 which making it slightly affordable.
