The highly awaited follow up to 2010's critically acclaimed western adventure video game, "Red Dead Redemption," called "Red Dead Redemption 2," is now just months away from being released. However, there still seems to be very little detail about the overall plot and changes to the game, which has led to some very interesting theories.

Rockstar has of course already released the very first trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2," and some keen-eyed gamers have apparently spotted some clues for a possible game element within the trailer's different scenes. According to RDR2, there may be some hints that the game could feature a farm or ranch simulation element that would let players create their own home, farm or hideout.

The alleged base or farm could be used to generate additional income, items, or resources for the players of "Red Dead Redemption 2." Having a place to store, sell, or trade items may also be a sort of mini-game for players to help them along their different quests. While the farming aspect may not be necessary to proceed with the game's main storyline, it could become a welcomed addition for those who wants a bit of economic diversity within the game.

Several scenes in the "Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer do seem to point to this being a possibility. The same report reveals that the scene where a hunter returns to his home on the prairie with a dear on the saddle of his horse is one such example. There is also the scene with the general store in town, which points to there being a possible trading system within the game.

However, not everyone is apparently happy with the prospect of having a farming simulation element in "Read Dead Redemption 2." A report from the Daily Star reveals that some fans are starting to complain about the potential direction of the upcoming game.

"Read Dead Redemption 2" is set to be released by fall of this year. The third installment in the "Red Dead" franchise will be made available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
