'The Last Of Us 2' Release Still In Blur; Naughty Dog Hinted Ellie To Get Pregnant; Joel Already Dead? [VIDEO]

Ever since it has confirmed that "The Last of Us" will hit the market shelves, a lot of patrons have been theorizing. As a matter of fact, it has been speculated that the upcoming video game will feature Ellie getting pregnant while Joel seems to be already dead.

According to Telegiz, it was last year when Naughty Dog released the trailer of "The Last of Us 2," indicating an older Ellie standing with her back to the camera and she seemed to be pregnant. It was also worth mentioning, that this image of Ellie was also spotted as an Easter egg in "Uncharted 4" as well. Despite this indication, the game developer still hasn't made any official statement about this speculation making the fans still wonder and look forward to the game.

Aside from that, Mic has noted that another major theory about "The Last of Us 2" is that Joel, who appears in the trailer, is really dead and Ellie is just fantasizing. Based on the sneak peek, Joel appears to appear out of bright light and it was noticeable that his appearance doesn't seem to have aged compared to his looks at end of the first game.

Aside from that, there isn't any actual indication that Joel is already dead in "The Last of Us 2," though it could somewhat make much sense. The repartee between Joel and Ellie in "The Last of Us" significantly made an impact making this video game lover by many.

Furthermore, "The Last of Us 2" writer Neil Druckmann has implied that the plot of the game could be conflicting to hope and love. With this, it appears that the players are not expecting a happy ending for the second installment of "The Las of Us." Druckman even teased fans that the game's story line will focus on the emotional state of violence and hatred. As a refresher, the original franchise of the game was centered on positive feelings. Joel lost his child but he met Ellie when the world is not in his favor, and she provided him a purpose to live.

As of this moment, "The Last of Us 2" release date is still unknown. Nevertheless, it was confirmed that the upcoming video game from Naughty Dog will be PlayStation 4 exclusive.
