A new build for the iOS 10.3 Beta has been released by Apple for the developers to download and test before the final roll out. It includes many new features for the devices, and one of them is the support to find missing wireless headsets known as AirPods.

The new iOS 10.3 Beta 5, which has a build number 14E5269a, will introduce a very helpful feature for fans who use Apple's AirPods. This new feature, according to Apple Insider, is going to be called Find My AirPods. It will aid users who tend to lose their AirPods by giving them an option to play chimes through the earphones using their handset.

As seen on the first look video in iOS 10.3 Beta 5, fans would need to connect the earphones to the handset via Bluetooth. After doing that, they can choose whether to mute the left or right earphones - depending on which one is missing. It will produce a faint but sharp chirping sound that can be heard even when one of the Apple AirPods is inside a drawer.

Another new addition that the developers are testing in the iOS 10.3 Beta 5 is the Apple File System (APFS). MacRumors reported that this addition is optimized for the handset's flash and/or SSD (Solid State Drive) storage. The APFS is also said to come with an even stronger encryption for the handset, making users feel more secured.

Unfortunately, Apple has yet to make any official announcements as to when the Beta program for iOS 10.3 will end. And if when is the final release date of the next major operating system update. But there are speculations, however, suggesting that Beta 5 could be the last one before the final build, Techno Buffalo reported.

Whatever the case is, it's best for fans to just wait for further instructions coming from Apple about the iOS 10.3 update. More news about the matter should surface in the coming days or weeks.
