Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Rumors and News: Most Powerful Upcoming Phone?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is probably one of the most highly searched smartphones right now, just behind the Galaxy S8. Ever since the fiasco with the Note 7, Samsung has stepped its game up to sell more Galaxy S7 and has started developing the Galaxy Note 8.

Earlier, it was rumored that the Note lineup would not be back and instead Samsung would focus on launching a new brand under the flagship series. However, it seems like the success of the past Galaxy Note(s) have made Samsung reconsider the Note lineup. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumors claim that Samsung is eager to make this phone better, safer and the pinnacle of innovation.

Every year, the Note lineup brings some form of innovation in the mobile hardware or software, and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumors have it that this year, things aren't changing. In fact, Samsung has touted that the Note 8 would be the most powerful flagship phone of 2017. While those claims are bold, Samsung has earlier proven themselves to be able to deliver on claims.

If the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumors are indeed true, then the phone can be expected to have top of the line hardware. For starters, the Galaxy Note 8 might be coming with a bezel-less display like the Mi Mix, since the Galaxy S8 is rumored to have a massive screen to body ratio.

Other than that, the phone might also bring a Quad HD or a 4K SuperAMOLED display, and it might get the 4K display, as the Note 8 would be VR compatible, and Samsung has been making bold claims about the Galaxy S8 and its VR capabilities. The screen size might also increase from 5.7-inch to 6.2-inch, but just like the LG G6, the phone would have a small profile.

PhoneArena reports that the phone might come with a SnapDragon 835 or greater, and an Exynos 8895 or greater for Asian markets. It is also rumored to have a dual lens camera, just like the other phones in the flagship price bracket.Some Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumors suggest that the phone would have IP68 water and dust resistance, and would also come with either 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4 RAM.
