Neal (Matt Bomer) is getting a new love interest in the form of actress Bridget Regan when White Collar returns this fall for season 5.

Regan will be playing Rebecca Lowe, a book scholar who becomes involved with Neal's next con, and soon becomes romantically entangled with him. The character is expected to have a 10-episode arc in season 5.

On May 29, Regan was also cast for the FX biker drama Sons of Anarchy. It remains to be seen if this conflict will result in either show having to reduce her role.

Regan is best known as Kahlan Amnell in the two-season fantasy drama Legend of the Seeker. She most recently played a recurring role as Alex Salter in The CW's Beauty and the Beast.

Jeff King, who is a writer, director and producer for White Collar, posted an exclusive picture of Regan and Bomer on the set late Tuesday night. He said that the pair was "rocking a great scene." The series has begun production on season 5.

The actress re-tweeted the picture to her followers. See the tweet here:

The news of Neal having a new love interest means that his relationship with Sara (Hilarie Burton) will likely be over for now. The pair, notorious for their on-again-off-again relationship decided to be just friends last season, though Sara indicated that she still had some lingering feelings for him.

Enstars previously reported that Warren Kole (The Following) will also be joining the cast for season 5 of White Collar. He will be playing Agent David Siegel, the new handler for Neal Caffrey. The character is said to be noticeably young, handsome and ambitious.

White Collar will be debuting its fifth season in October 2013 on the USA network.
