Johnny Depp has made a joke about Donald Trump and although the crowd was laughing, the Secret Service definitely was not.

On Thursday, the acclaimed actor made a joke about assassinating Donald Trump at the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom.

"The Secret Service is aware of the Mr. Depp’s comments. For operational security reasons, we do not discuss specifically or in general terms the means and methods of how we conduct our protective responsibilities." a United States Secret Service Official told Fox News on Friday.

Depp responded to all the controversy.

“I want to clarify, I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it has been a while and maybe it is time.”

It has not been revealed on how the Secret Service plans to handle the situation, however, they released a statement implying they are in the midst of finding a solution.

"For security reasons, we cannot discuss specifically nor in general terms the means and methods of how we perform our protective responsibilities."

Depp has not responded to the possible precautions of the Secret Service or posted anything on social media.

Although, Keith Boykin, broadcaster, has defended Depp on Twitter.

As of lately, Trump has had his fair share of controversy with celebrities. Earlier this month, comedian Kathy Griffin was scrutinized for holding a bloody replica of Trump's beheaded head.

The Secret Service was also on her back due to her stunt and since then, she has been fired from CNN and was considered an enemy of the state.
