Kim Kardashian is reportedly planning to expand her family with Kanye West in the upcoming months.

According to a new report, Kardashian and her husband have chosen a woman to carry their child and get her family's approval on her selection.

"[Kim and Kanye] are super excited about future babies," a source close to Kardashian revealed to Hollywood Life on Wednesday. "The surrogate has met the Kardashians, it was really important to Kim that her family give their seal of approval. I wouldn't say she's getting 'super close' to them all, but she has been around the family on several occasions now."

Kardashian and West share two children, North West, four, and Saint West, one. The couple tied the knot in May 2014.

As Kardashian and West move forward with the surrogacy process, they are reportedly being super secretive in regard to their surrogate's identity.

"Kim and Kanye are being very careful about who knows her identity, they want to keep her name private, for obvious reasons," the insider continued. "They are keeping any interactions strictly within the inner Kardashian sanctum."

"Kim has formed a tight bond with her surrogate. Kim likes to text, talk and Facetime daily so she can really feel connected to her," a different source added. "Kim likes to have regular, up-to-the-minute updates on the surrogate's health, diet, and rest schedule. If she is feeling happy or sad, Kim wants to know about it. She is determined to be as helpful as possible."

Kim Kardashian and her family, including husband Kanye West and their kids, are expected to begin filming on the 14th season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians later this summer and the new installment will likely air later this year.
