Jenelle Evans and David Eason are getting married next month and during an interview on the red carpet at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, the Teen Mom 2 star opened up about their relationship and upcoming wedding.

“I’m [looking forward] to definitely just getting my future started,” Evans told Us Weekly magazine on Sunday night.

“We have a lot of projects that are coming up and we’re working on them as a team, just like we have been, but this time together as a family. So it will be great," Evans continued. "We’re looking into house renovations, buying and flipping. I have a cosmetics line that’s about to come out and he’s helping me with that, just a lot of the business aspect behind it.”

Evans and Eason began dating one another in 2015 and became engaged earlier this year after welcoming their first child, daughter Ensley Jolie, in January. Since then, they have been juggling their relationship with their big family and busy lives as reality stars.

“We stay busy, but I think that’s it,” Evans explained. “You stay busy and if you stay busy there’s nothing really to argue about.”

As for her upcoming wedding, Evans said that her dress would be very “very slim-fitting” with “modern lace,” and her wedding party will include a “rustic Southern theme.”

Evans and Eason will marry on September 23 near their home in North Carolina.
