Jenelle Evans is under fire after sharing a photo of her children in a hot tub.

According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star and mother of three is facing backlash from fans who feel that her two sons, eight-year-old Jace and three-year-old Kaiser, as well as her husband David's daughter Maryssa, should not be allowed to spend time in her hot tub.

Days ago, Radar Online told readers that Evans was being mom-shamed by her audience on social media because hot tubs are dangerous for young children. In Touch Weekly also shared a report about the issue, telling readers that young kids can easily drown in hot tubs.

“Shouldn’t a three-year-old not be in a hot tub?” one person asked on social media.

“I do know that boys under the age of 18 shouldn’t be in a hot tub,” another added.

According to the Radar Online report, The Red Cross recommends that no children under the age of 5 be allowed in a hot tub as “children can’t cope physically with the heat, which may cause hypothermia and other harmful effects.”

“Infants and toddlers should not use a hot tub at all due to the risk of overheating or dehydration,” The Spruce advises.

“Drowning is the most serious hazard connected with any body of water, including hot tubs….Entanglement of hair in the suction fitting of a hot tub is another hazard that can result in drowning….A similar danger is getting caught by the strong suction of a drain,” the site added.
