Tamar Braxton might be working on co-parenting with her estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, but word is she’s livid with her mother, Evelyn Braxton. The singer and reality star isn’t even speaking with her mother, according to the latest reports.

Tamar filed for divorce from Herbert last month. She cited "irreconcilable differences" in the shocking move.

Why Tamar Braxton Isn't Speaking With Her Mother

Tamar is said to be upset after Evelyn spoke with TMZ reporters and gave a message to Herbert to stop physically abusing Tamar before he hurts or even kills her. This was enough to confirm speculation that has been going around for years that Herbert was physically abusive to Tamar during their marriage, which lasted for nearly nine years. The exes would have celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary this month.

“Tamar is not speaking to her mother right now after [Evelyn] told [paparazzi] cameras Vince needs to keep his hands off of her. She added fuel to domestic violence rumors,” one insider told Page Six.

While Tamar’s rep has not responded to the report of her being upset with Evelyn, another source said that Tamar decided not to shoot with her family that same week for their popular reality show, Braxton Family Values, on We TV.

Tamar Braxton Candidly Talks Divorce

Interestingly enough, Tamar put lots of her drama out there when it came to her divorce with Vince via Instagram, but she didn’t mention anything about physical abuse. It’s not clear if it truly happened or if Tamar is attempting to protect Herbert, considering he’s a major record label executive. He is currently managing rapper Remy Ma.

Instead, in her now-viral Instagram post, Tamar decided to mention other aspects that led to their high-profile breakup.

“Some of us have been living a LIE!” Tamar wrote earlier this month. “Sometimes when things R shared, what’s NOT being surfaced is that he has one or several girlfriends, or she’s never home, or he’s very general when he speaks, or ‘this doesn’t sound like him’ or he’s so busy lately!!”

Was There Always Trouble In Paradise?

She went on to outline moments that described Herbert’s seemingly controlling behavior such as checking her phone and not wanting to have the same friends when it came to his own friendships but was willing to share Tamar’s friends with her. She also revealed a time when Herbert told her to leave the home they shared together.

Fans can see the fallout of Tamar and Herbert’s romance when Tamar & Vince airs Thursdays on We TV at 9/8c.
