On Dec. 19, 2017, actor and comedian T.J. Miller was accused of sexually assaulting and punching his ex-girlfriend. The victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous, recounted the incident during an in-depth interview with the Daily Beast.

Miller has denied the allegation, however; the accusation may not have fallen on death ears. It has been reported that Comedy Central has officially canceled Miller's show, The Gorburger Show.

The news of the cancellation of the show follows the allegation against Miller. A spokesperson for the network has stated that the decision to cancel the show did not have anything to do with the story that just made headlines and that the show was canceled earlier this year.

Miller, who will be featured in the upcoming Steven Spielberg film, Ready Player One, and his wife, Kate Gorney, jointly denied the anonymous victim's claim. The couple stated that they have known the woman in question since college and this was not the first time she made these statements. The couple elaborated that she had repeatedly tried to come in between them for years and was using the current epidemic of allegations making headlines to her advantage.

"It is unfortunate that she is choosing this route as it undermines the important movement to make women feel safe coming forward about legitimate claims against real known predators," the Millers wrote.

In the interview, the victim alleged that Miller and she were in a relationship, however, Miller violently punched and choked her while the two engaged in sex. The woman also claimed that Miller penetrated her anally and vaginally without her consent.

"He just tried a lot of things without asking me, and at no point asked me if I was all right. He choked me, and I kept staring at his face hoping he would see that I was afraid and [that he] would stop... I couldn't say anything," the woman stated.

The Daily Beast also reported that five people were in attendance during the interview and corroborated with her story.

Miller is one of the latest actors who has been accused of sexual misconduct or abuse.

Actors Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman, Ed Westwick, and Danny Masterson have all been implicated as sexual predators, with the majority of them losing their current positions because of the allegations.
