Kevin Spacey is reportedly taking a 'break' from acting and seeking 'evaluation' and 'professional' help.

The news comes a few days after the actor was accused of sexually harassing Anthony Rapp in 1986 when Rapp was just a teenager. Since then, more men have come  forward and accused the American Beauty star of sexually harassing or abusing them.

"Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment. No other information is available at this time," a rep for Spacey told Variety on Wednesday.

Due to the implications against Spacey, the production for the sixth season of House of Cards was suspended.

"Media Rights Capital and Netflix are deeply troubled by last night's news concerning Kevin Spacey. In response to last night's revelations, executives from both of our companies arrived in Baltimore this afternoon to meet with our cast and crew to ensure that they continue to feel safe and supported. As previously scheduled, Kevin Spacey is not working on set at this time," the two companies released in a joint statement.

Spacey was accused of groping director Tony Montana in 2003. Montana stated that Spacey forcefully touched him and that the incident left him PTSD for six months. Actor Roberto Cavazos claimed that Spacey 'preyed' on younger men and fought off advances from him as well.

Two other anonymous men allege that Spacey harassed them back in the 1980's, with one further elaborating that Spacey 'exposed' himself to the [then] 17-year-old.

Spacey's recent announcement that he was gay received harsh criticism from the LGBTQ community, who felt the Oscar winner's revelation was in poor taste given the current allegations.

Kevin is scheduled to appear in two projects, All the Money in the World, where he will portray J. Paul Getty, scheduled to be in theaters in December and Netflix's, Gore, just completed its production.

No word has been given if the Netflix original film will be halted.

Spacey's career began in the 80's after he appeared in several on-stage theater productions. He transitioned into film not much longer after that and received two Academy Awards for his roles in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects. Spacey was the star of the hit Netflix series House of Cards alongside actress Robin Wright.
