Brad Pitt Is Staying Sober For His Children

Brad Pitt is starting his 2018 by making changes to his life. The actor is reportedly getting himself together to be a better family man for his children.

Since 2016, the 54 year-old actor has suffered from bad publicity and unfavorable rumors. In September 2016, it was announced that his wife, actress Angelina Jolie, filed for divorce from Pitt following an incident on an airplane. It was reported that Pitt had a violent encounter with one of his children that resulted in the actor being escorted off the plane.

Rumors began to swirl that Pitt had a drinking problem in addition to being "too harsh" when disciplining his children with Jolie, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. The actor was also spotted flirting with different women while using his first name, William.

Pitt and Jolie, who were together since 2005 before tying the knot in 2014, have primarily focused on the children's well-being and remained a family despite the couple's decision to end their marriage. Since spilt, Pitt reportedly moved down the street from Jolie and his children and spends most of his time alone in his home. Pitt has also quit drinking and is practicing a more holistic lifestyle through yoga and attending therapy sessions.

"He goes to therapy every week and is mostly interested in learning and bettering himself as a man and father," a source close to the actor stated.

Jolie Moves On

Meanwhile, Pitt's soon-to-be ex, has been spotted at several award shows recently. The Maleficent actress attended the 2018 Golden Globes on Jan. 7, and partook in the all-black movement, by sporting a designer black gown. Jolie also attended the NYC Awards Gala on Jan. 9, with her two daughters, Shiloh and Zahara. Jolie has not been linked to anyone following her spilt with her estranged husband.

Also in attendance at the Golden Globes was Pitt's first ex-wife, actress Jennifer Aniston. Aniston and Pitt divorced after five years of marriage in 2005. Aniston and Jolie have not been at the same award show since 2015. The two reportedly did not interact with each other at the Golden Globes, even though both ladies were two of the presenters for the evening.

Although there was speculation that Aniston and Pitt would reunite following his shocking separation, Aniston is happily married to actor Justin Theroux. Aniston and Pitt, however, have kept in contact with each other throughout the years.
