Brad & Angelina Caught In Another $700,000 Lawsuit Amid Pending Divorce Battle

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may not have done yet when it comes to their divorce battle and this time, the ex-couple is facing another lawsuit worth $700,000. The said case was filed by their former designer who worked for their pricey Chateau Miraval project.

Latest reports from The Guardian confirmed that Pitt and Jolie were forced to join forces even if they are not together anymore just to face the above-mentioned lawsuit. The said French designer claimed that the actor stops paying her for the extensive work she had provided for the ex-couple's Provence estate Chateau Miraval.

Odile Soudant, the said designer took Pitt and Jolie to the court last April in France or the said reason. Apart from that, she also claimed that her reputation was damaged since she was not given any credits for the job and project which she had already done. As she said, she is an artist and that was her work and when someone steals her work, it will be something else already. She claimed that the experience was indeed painful for her.

The reports claimed that it was Pit who hired the services of Soudant in order to light some of the buildings on the said estate the actor and Jolie shared. Since he was very interested to make Miraval an exceptional place and thought that light should be at the heart of the design, the actor was the one who gave an idea to the designer for the project.

Upon her hiring, Global News claimed that Soudant also got the services of 17 more experts for the work which then resulted in expensive bills which Pitt and Jolie paid monthly. But she claimed that when all the expenses started to run over and the project seemed work very slow, Pitt reportedly stopped paying her.

From that, the designer always asked Pitt to pay up for the remaining costs but her constant pleas were of no use. With this, she was even forced to close a shop since she could no longer pay her contractors as well as her subcontractors for the project they have already finished.

Lastly, it was also reported that Pitt continued to ask Soudant to finish the project despite not paying her. The court records showed his emails to the designer which also include how the actor got disappointed for the sudden discontinuation of the project.
