Former The View co-host Jedediah Bila officially marries her fiancé Jeremy Scher. The two tied the knot Saturday, Feb. 17, in New York.

An Intimate Ceremony

The 39-year-old wed her beau in Huntington surrounded by friends and family in an intimate and traditional ceremony.

"As 60 of their closest family and friends filled the room, Jedediah walked down the aisle as Jeremy beamed with joy - you could truly feel the love in this magical evening!" gushed wedding planner Michael Russo.

Bila wore a stunning Rivini lace ballgown and matching earrings from Susan Hanover for the big day, which The View host Sunny Hostin attended. Her wedding band was white gold, eternity style, with elegant wraparound diamonds.

Scher wore a traditional tuxedo and chose a plain, yellow gold band for his own wedding ring. Of her desire to get married in true princess style, Bila admitted she didn't think she was that kind of girl.

"I always wanted to get married, but I never thought I would do the big wedding dress and the beautiful venue. I always thought I was gonna be on a beach somewhere, just a couple of friends, doing it really casual. So it's crazy," she said.

"What I'm looking forward to the most [about my wedding day] is that moment of walking down the aisle and seeing him and having him see me and having that moment where we're in front together."

For the ex-Fox News correspondent, the choice of a traditional wedding is a surprising one. Bila is known for being a bit of a rule breaker and a boundary pusher.

The Daytime Emmy Award-winning TV host utilized the services of celebrity wedding planner Michael Russo Events to ensure every detail of her big day was perfect, from music to flowers. For dinner, guests could choose between filet mignon and seared Atlantic salmon, while the wedding cake was vanilla and chocolate with a mousse filling.

A View Of The Engagement

Bila announced her engagement to Scher on the air in June of last year, asking the studio audience whether they noticed anything different about her.

Her beau reportedly took her to a romantic bed and breakfast to pop the question, which Bila claimed was a complete shock at the time. She noticed that something was up, however, because Scher had gotten ready much quicker, and earlier than ever before.

Bila joined The View crew in August 2016. Just a year later, in September 2017, the 39-year-old host abruptly announced she would be leaving the show.

The former Fox News contributor told the studio audience on Sept. 18 that it would be her last day on the show with co-hosts Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, and Paula Faris.

Bila described it as her most difficult day on the job, before thanking the other ladies for being her friends throughout her time there. She acknowledged that she wasn't to everyone's tastes, but explained it was in her nature to rile people up and try to rock the boat a little bit.

Bila's spot was filled by Megan McCain on The View just a short while later in October.
