Kendra Wilkinson suffered an emotional breakdown on social media Monday, April 2. The reality star’s rocky marriage with former NFL player Hank Baskett made headlines recently.

A teary-eyed Wilkinson made it clear she reached her breaking point when she shared an emotional message with fans. She confirmed speculations that she and Baskett were heading to a divorce.

“Ten years,” said Wilkinson. “I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough. I will always love him and my heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever, I really did. Guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared, but I have to get strong for my kids – I will.”

She went on to thank her close family, friends, and fans for sticking by her during her extremely tough time. She said their support meant a lot to her because she never expected her marriage to Baskett to be in the state it is in currently.

Wilkinson, who shared the ups and downs of her marriage on her reality show, Kendra On Top, didn’t end there. She continued with a photo of her and Baskett on the day they tied the knot. She made it clear she believed in their love back then.

Interestingly enough, she also added a photo of a table and chairs. It was speculated that the snapshot came from the inside of a divorce attorney’s office. She went on to post a photo of herself when she was little.

“This little girl deserves the happiest life,” added Wilkinson in the caption.

Wilkinson went as far as posting a picture of the outfit she wore and said she was “shaking the whole time” as she selected the now infamous wardrobe choice.

Signs Of A Rocky Marriage

Wilkinson and Baskett married in 2009. All seemed to be well between the now exes until Baskett made headlines for his reported affair with a transgender woman in 2014. Wilkinson was 8 months pregnant at the time.

Fans saw the couple try to work through their differences on the reality show, but they have both made it clear it’s been an uphill battle. One insider said that they really never got over the cheating scandal, although Wilkinson truly tried to support Baskett.

They have two children together -- Hank IV, 8, and Alijah, 3.
