FX's gritty biker TV series Sons of Anarchy continues to draw a massive amount of anticipation for its upcoming sixth installment.

While the details on the show's future storyline haven't exactly been addressed, writer Christopher Golden, who's known for penning Hell Boy, recently revealed that he'll be rolling out a brand new character to the SOA comic book series by the name of Kendra, who'll play a pivotal role in the respective readings.

"Kendra's uncle was a member and he always told her that if she was ever in real trouble, the Sons would help her. She's in real trouble," he told Newsarama.

In Season 5 of the TV series, SAMCRO's Tig (Kim Coates) had to witness his daughter getting burnt to death, which surely won't continue to bode well with his psych moving forward.

"Once upon a time, Tig was her uncle's best friend in the club. Once upon a time, they wanted to kill each other. Now she needs help and comes to him...unaware that he's just lost his daughter and may be less stable than ever," he explains.

While the info from Golden is strictly associated with the comic series, the Kendra part would clearly fit right into the show's current plotline. Nonetheless, only time will truly tell if the role ever sees the light of day on the Sons TV series, which is nearing the end of its successful run.

Sons of Anarchy will be premiering its sixth season on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 10/9 p.m. Central on the FX network. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the program. A recent video of the cast doing an interview at the Paley Center can be viewed below.
