EnStars was on the scene Wednesday when Jay Z performed Picasso Baby for over six hours during a "secret" video shoot in New York. Our editor gives us the behind-the-scenes scoop:

On Wednesday afternoon, I received a mysterious e-mail that would end up leading me to the best afternoon ever: hanging out on the set of Jay Z's Picasso Baby video shoot.

"Come to the 40/40 Club at 1p.m. Don't ask questions. Jay Z is doing something cool. You don't want to miss this," my industry friend said, signing the e-mail "Picasso Baby."

Before I knew it, I was signing a release and hearded into a massive van wih a few other people and headed to a "top secret location," which ended up being the Pace Gallery in New York.

I was asked to the sign a waiver, which meant I simply consented to having my image used and agreed not to sue if I turned up in the video. First thought: Awesome!

I have joked for the last 10 years that I wanted to be in a rap video at some point in my life -- and now on a random Wednesday -- here I was mere feet away from Jay Z, as he rapped and filmed his new music video for Picasso Baby.

We were all ushered into a vast white room, where Jay Z emerged wearing black pants, a white button down shirt and sparkling gold Roc-A-Fella chain.

There were a few familiar faces; music executive Michael Kyser, Roc A&R Lenny S. and performance artist Marina Abramović.
