Country Music Awards Preview: Kenny Chesney Leads All Contenders With 9 Nominations
The list of nominees for the 47th Country Music Awards being held tomorrow has been known since January. Since then the lineup for presenters has been set.
Here's a summary of the leading contenders and presenters for event, along with a full list of nominees for the show, which will air at 8 p.m. on CBS.
The show will feature leading nominee Kenny Chesney who is up for nine awards including entertainer of the year, best album and best song.
Jason Aldean is next with six nominations and Brad Paisley has four. Taylor Swift led all women with three nominations including entertainer of the year.
The following artists are scheduled to perform: Jason Aldean, Dierks Bently, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Bradley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride with Pat Monahan, Scotty McCreery, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Lionel Richie, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young, The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts with Steve Martin, and Little Big Town.
The awards show will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The hosts are Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton.
