With the cast of Once Upon a Time ready to attend Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif., there have been a few pieces of information that have leaked about season 3.

Meghan Ory, who plays Ruby/Red Riding Hood on the show, confirmed Thursday at Comic-Con that she would not be a regular for season 3 of Once Upon a Time but admitted that she could show up later in the season/series.

Ory told TVGuide in May that she left Once Upon a Time because the producers told her they didn't have room for her character in season 3. This led her to be cast as the female lead in the new CBS drama Intelligence, which debuts this fall.

The actress was at Comic-Con Thursday when she broke the news that while there were no immediate plans to have her back on Once Upon a Time, fans had not seen the last of her character.

Once Upon a Time producers are intent on adding many new characters for season 3, including Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell and more. Despite this, co-creator Adam Horowitz assured that the new characters would not be the focus going forward.

"There will be some new characters, but for the most part were going to be focusing on our core group of regulars from Seasons 1 and 2," Horowitz said in a Wednesday report by TVLine, "If characters do come in, it will, at least at first, be more akin to how we used Robin Hood in Season 2." The Robin Hood/Thief character only appeared in one episode in season 2, though he is also set to appear in the season 3 premiere.

The Once Upon a Time panel at Comic-Con is scheduled for Saturday, July 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Ballroom 20. An attendee at the convention took a low-quality photo Friday of the new poster for season 3, which can be seen here, via SpoilerTV:

An attendee also recorded video footage of the new trailer for season 3, though it does not contain any new footage:

Once Upon a Time season 3 is set to premiere Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
