It's always fun learning about another backstage showbiz tradition.

Oscar Isaac was the hilarious host of this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, hosting ahead of his upcoming MCU show Moon Knight, which premieres on Disney+ March 30th. It was his first time hosting, and it went over beautifully - people particularly liked his opening monologue, and the workplace harassment seminar sketch with Cecily Strong.

It was Isaac's first time hosting the famed sketch comedy show - but he had a little advice from an old hat, thanks to an SNL tradition that has been going on forever.

It's apparently tradition for the host of the week to leave a little note for whoever is hosting the show the next week - and last week's host was the legendary John Mulaney, now an experienced and seasoned member of the SNL Five Timers' Club - the perfect person to be giving advice to a first-time host like Isaac.

SNL Standby Line, a BTS account for the show, posted a picture of Isaac posing by dressing room door that has all the notes on it, and you can see not only his, but other notes from past hosts as well.

You can see that Mulaney's note to Isaac reads: "Oscar - It's like being shot out of a cannon!"

You can also make out notes to and from other stars, like Elon Musk's advice to "have a blast" or Maya Rudolph's to "have fun, breathe, and kick some ass."

Of all the SNL traditions we've ever heard about, this has got to be one of the sweetest. You love to see stars wholeheartedly encouraging one another.
