Although Cher is one of the most iconic actresses and musicians, she also experiences shortcomings sometimes. The Academy Award-winning star took to social media to apologize to fans and express her thoughts about what was happening within herself.

Taking to her official Twitter account, the "Turn Back Time" songstress ranted out of nowhere, saying she's sorry for being inactive as she's going through "personal problems."

One fan checked up on the actress, asking her if she was okay, to which she candidly replied with, "[you] know, no. But sometimes we [have] different kinds of tears. Tears that hurt, we become overwhelmed."

Cher added that she's been alive "since the year dot," and the recent years were "the worst" she had ever seen.

"Add family to that and it's a recipe for [a] disaster cake," she wrote.

An hour later, the singer gave an update about her situation, saying she's "better today" and offered an explanation, saying she sometimes reaches what she thinks is her limit then realizes that there's more effort coming from her.

To cope with her feelings, the Grammy Award-winning songstress revealed sometimes she needed to "regroup, reboot" and a "time out."

Even though Cher did not reveal more details about the state of her life right now, many fans sent her positive messages in the reply section.

Cher Undergoing a Legal Battle Against Ex-Husband's Widow

Regarding what's happening with Cher in recent months, the 75-year-old star is currently in a legal battle against Mary Bono, her ex-husband's fourth wife, and widow.

According to The New York Post, Mary reportedly illegally withheld Cher's royalties from Sonny & Cher's hit tracks from the 1960s.

Per legal documents, the former couple entered into a "marriage settlement agreement" from 1978 after separating.

The "Believe" hitmaker alleged that both of them "Agreed to equal division of their community property" such as royalties, record royalties, and other assets.

In December, Mary Bono requested the court dismiss Cher's million-dollar lawsuit as she claims it was "groundless."

Sonny Bono and Cher were married from 1964 to 1975. A few years after their split, he married Susie Coelho, but the relationship didn't last.

The singer later tied the knot with Mary Bono in 1986 until he died in 1998 due to a skiing accident in South Lake Tahoe, California.
