Britney Spears Has No Idea Who Pete Davidson Is.

Britney Spears has absolutely no idea who Pete Davidson is, and everybody agrees that that is a beautiful thing.

The pop star, who is rumored to be working on a new album for the first time in years, reposted a video from Scott Disick's Instagram page of himself and Pete Davidson hanging out.

 The video that Spears said made her laugh so hard depicted the aftermath of a major boyz nite that Davidson and Disick were having together - that is, Pete took Scott's phone and riffed about all of the bros falling asleep on the couch.

People are obsessed with the fact that, despite the fact that he's been in the news for his involvement with the drama between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for weeks, Spears still seems to have no idea who he is.

What's interesting is, Spears definitely knows Kim Kardashian - back when she was good friends with Paris Hilton, Kim was her stylist, as well as one of her closest confidants. But we're pretty sure she hasn't been Keeping Up With The Kardashians over her years in conservatorship, which means that even if she did know what was going on, she would have very little context for it compared to the rest of us.

It's fascinating to realize that the conservatorship she was under literally means Britney Spears missed out on some of the biggest pop culture moments of the last decade, which kind of makes her like a cultural time traveler right now. (Is it a coincidence that styles from the 2000s are coming back right now? We think not.)

We'd love to see what happened if Britney decided to go hang out with some of this crew now. What would that dynamic be like? It's rare that the Kardashians meet someone more famous than them - it's even rarer that that person doesn't know who they are.
