Now that Prince Andrew is unemployed, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson seems to be the sole earner at the Royal Lodge, their Windsor mansion.

The Duchess of York, on the other hand, has just been forced to call it quits on her current business.

According to the Daily Mail, the mom-of-two shut down Rumpel Water, which she intended to be a water-cleaning firm focusing on international operations.

According to an insider, she introduced it at the worst possible time amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 62-year-old Duchess founded the firm in 2020, but three weeks later it was rocked by resignations. Her sons-in-law, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, both directors, were among those who quit.

They were intending to become involved, according to a spokesman who confirmed it at the time. They recognized, however, that they didn't have enough time to devote, so they departed the firm.

Edoardo is a brand ambassador for Casamigos, a tequila company created by George Clooney, and Edo is the CEO of a real estate and design firm.

Sarah Ferguson has remained steadfast in her support for her disgraced ex-husband despite his alleged $13 million settlement with his accuser.

The Duchess' career has been a tumultuous one as well. She allegedly cleared $5 million in debts in the mid-1990s owing to an adaptation of her children's books.

Even after retrieving the money owing to it, Gate Ventures, the theatrical investment business where she was a director, was found to have debts of $11.5 million in 2020.

Fergie, on the other hand, rebounded by forming a commercial alliance with Montegrappa, an Italian luxury goods firm.

Meanwhile, Rumpel's shutdown was verified by a spokeswoman for her: "It was set up as a consultancy business but never but never started trading due of COVID."

Despite the demise of her most recent firm, a source told the site that she had a slew of new projects in the works.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the British royal figure has a net worth of $1 million.

When Fergie divorced Prince Andrew, she allegedly received roughly $900,000, which she used to buy a new home, $600,000 in cash, and a tiny share of Prince Andrew's military component.

However, her settlement is pitiful in comparison to Prince Diana's, who received $24 million.
