Fans couldn't get enough of the High School rapper's appearance in the clip.

"You looked so POPPING in the Video the way ya Hair was Blowing in the Wind!!! I want more of that hair," tweeted one user.

"I just love everything about in this vid. U r the definition of flawless," wrote another.

Get Like Me is the lead single from M.O., Nelly's upcoming album and also features Pharrell Williams. The rap veteran gave kudos to Minaj for her bars on the track.

"You killed the joint. I didn't get a chance to tell you," Nelly told her in a behind-the-scenes video, released in July.

A humble Minaj replied, "Thank you for having me."

Nelly's seventh studio album is expected on September 30 and will feature additional appearances by Nelly Furtado, Trey Songz, T.I. and Wiz Khalifa.

This will mark the rapper's first studio album since 2010 when he released 5.0. The album sold a disappointing 63,000 in its first week and only managed to peak at No. 10 on Billboard. It became his least successful album to date. For example, Nelly's fifth studio album Brass Knuckles peaked at No. 3 on Billboard when it was released in 2008.

The rapper blamed his record label, Universal Motown, for the low sales.

"A record deal is a 50/50 partnership! As a artist its your job to provide the record company with music that they (record company) can sell, Thing about the partnership is that n the public eye the responsibility is not 50/50! The artist is always the 1 who catches 90% of the blame," he tweeted following the album's release.
