Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt never thought about divorcing after they got married, reports claimed.

While Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston, he started developing feelings with Jolie while they were filming the movie, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Even the staff members saw the duo's chemistry on the set.

However, it turned out that were also being romantic off-cam, causing the actor to divorce Aniston and get engaged to Jolie in 2012. Two years later, they got married at their home in France.

No one knew that they would also end up divorcing, as the "Maleficent" star once revealed that they were sure of what they had when they got married.

In an interview with MsMojo YouTube following their wedding, she revealed that they made their relationship legal after feeling "contented and okay" about their future together.

"It was all of us agreeing to be together and to just commit to this life together," Jolie said. "Not because we had to, not because anything was missing in our lives, because we were absolutely sure that we felt like that much of a family."

Unfortunately, the spark did not last long as she filed for divorce from Pitt due to irreconcilable differences.

Until now, Jolie and Pitt are still embroiled in legal battles following their divorce. While both of them never spoke about the irreconcilable differences that caused their split, Jolie once told Vogue India what led them to part ways.

"I separated for the wellbeing of my family. It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing.
