Timothee Chalamet is In a World of Pure Imagination! Sneak Peek of 'Wonka' Trailer Shown at CinemaCon! Is Timothee Chalamet the Next Gene Wilder?

The trailer for the upcoming movie Wonka starring Timothee Chalamet was released at CinemaCon today.

We have been waiting hungrily to dive back into a world of candy and pure imagination. The newest Willy Wonka film, aptly titled Wonka, has been one of the most highly anticipated, talked about films in recent days. People - especially fans of Chalamet's - have been searching for news on the film as tenasiously as they would search for a Golden Ticket in a chocolate bar.

The role of the well-beloved character is being taken on by the incredibly talented young heartthrob Timothee Chalamet. Beyond that, the production has been shrouded in mystery, much like the inside of Wonka's factory. However, those at CinemaCon may have found one of the golden tickets, because it was there that the trailer to the film was officially released.

According to an article on Deadline, while the trailer has not been released to the public, the beautifully colored, musical joy depected in the few clips is worth writing home about.

The trailer showed off one of the movie's many musical numbers, "You've Never Had Chocolate Like This." The dancing and singing, alongside the well known Wonka-purple coat, have everyone excited to dive back into this world of magic and mystery.

This musical experience will be unlike the other adaptations of the film. After Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp made the role iconic in their own ways, we can't wait to see what Chalamet-specific spin the young actor puts on the role.
