Emmy Rossum is fearless. The world has known that the Shameless star was a talented force to be reckoned with for years, but this was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt at a production meeting for the upcoming Peacock series Angelyne.

Angelyne is a mini-series that follows the story of the famed woman whose face painted billboards all over LA in the 1980s. Rossum, who bears almost no likeness to the real person, is set to take her on in the show.

At one of the final production meetings for what is expected to be a knock-out series, Rossum informed the board that she would be unable to attend. Someone else, however, appeared in her stead.

As the team sat around the table, a woman with bleached blonde hair, clad in a mini-dress, carrying a peacock feather, entered the room. She flirted; she passed out quartz crystals; she said an incantation to bless the show; she even went as far as to tickle some of the executives' faces with the feather.

Many thought that it was Angelyne herself - really, it was simply Rossum decked-out in prosthetics, and acting her a** off.

The board room performance gave everyone high hopes for the show.

According to an article an NBC drama executive that had been present shared with The Hollywood Reporter:

"She was utterly transformed...To give this kind of performance in a business meeting, no one does that. But that's Emmy, she's fearless and bold and just a trooper."

This intensity is needed in this upcoming role. Rossum added:

"As my acting coach likes to tell me, intensity is not something I struggle with. I wanted to give them the experience."

We can't wait to see Rossum's incredible power on Peacock in Angelyne on May 19th.
