We hpe you're hungry, because Searchlight Pictures is serving up a big helping of creepiness with their trailer for The Menu, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes.

When a couple (Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travel to a remote island where foodies are treated to a culinary experience like no other, they soon find that Chef Slowik (Fiennes) might be serving up more than just an extravagant gastronomic amuse-bouche.

The trailer is as sinister as it is playful, unfolding the premise with darkly comedic pacing, while not ruining too much of the twisted plot.

The film is directed by Mark Mylord, who up until now has been busy in the world of television, where he has helmed such shows as Game of Thrones, Shameless, and Succession.

The Menu puts together an intriguing cast, that includes Janet McTeer (Ozark), John Leguizamo (Encanto), Judith Light (Transparent), Hong Chau (Watchmen), and Aimee Carrero, just to name a few.

Throughout the trailer, Chef Slowik amazes his elite guests with his over-the-top plates, slowly ramping up the tension to a rolling boil as his servers and staff begin to act aggressively towards their patrons. Things begin to give off a manic, cultish feel as the disjointed music accompanies the grown trepidation of those in attendance.

What begins as a pretentious tasting quickly devolves into an unnerving offering of food and fear. Taylor-Joy becomes the avatar for the audience, desperate to reveal the terrifying trappings hidden beneath the ritzy veneer of the island and its inhabitants.

The Menu, now in post-production, is slated to open in theaters on November 18th - but until then you will have to enjoy the appetizer provided in the effectively off-beat trailer. Bon Appetit!
