It's not the heights you have to be afraid of. It's the fall!

Lionsgate has just released a nailbiter of a poster and teaser for their new thriller Fall. The film stars Grace Fulton as Becky (Revenge) and Virginia Gardner as Hunter (Halloween 2018), a pair of thrill-seeking friends who find themselves trapped 2,000 feet in the air after attempting their latest death-defying feat - climbing an abandoned radio tower in the middle of nowhere.

Directed/written by Scott Mann and co-written by Johnathan Frank, the trailer begins on the red clay terra firma at the base of a radio tower, as a phone smashes to the ground.

The shot quickly swoops upward as the Earth shrinks in the distance, weaving in and out of the rusty metal structure, whizzing past ominous vultures encircling the spire.

As we reach the apex, our heroes are holding on for dear life, as Hunter, standing on a small platform, desperately holds onto Becky's climbing rope as she dangles helplessly off the edge.

The title really says it all.

Fall looks to be one of those films the likes of Open Water (2003), where divers are left in the middle of shark-infested water after their boat leaves without them; or the Frozen (2010, not the 2014 Disney film), where skiiers are trapped on a ski lift overnight with no way to get down.

Simple premises with heart-pounding results, minimal characters, and a central locale.

Co-starring Jeffery Dean Morgan of The Walking Dead, Fall is set to drop on August 12.
