Many people have been vilifying Elizabeth Holmes after she was charged and sent behind bars due to her claims about the "revolutionary" invention Theranos. However, since Amanda Seyfried portrayed her in a Hulu series, the actress has mixed feelings about the embattled researcher.

According to E! Online, the "Mean Girls" actress wowed fans after playing the role of Holmes in the show "The Dropout."

Speaking to Jared Leto as part of Variety's Actors on Actors, the star revealed she knows that the researcher isn't a perfect person and believes that she deserves whatever she's sentenced with.

However, despite Holmes being found guilty for her wrongdoings, Seyfried said she feels some sympathy for her.

"Yeah, she lied a lot. She's a mother. She has her whole life ahead of her. She's my age. I like to think I'm still young, you know what I mean?" the 36-year-old actress added.

Jared Leto agreed as he played Adam Neumann, the former CEO of WeWork, who resigned after a vote of no confidence.

However, the big difference between the two Hollywood Celebrities is Leto was able to meet the person he was playing.

Their respective show's productions advised both actors that they were not allowed to make any contact with the people they were portraying.

Seyfried followed the rule, but Leto did the unthinkable.

At first, he was very curious and thought he would regret meeting with Neumann, but he went on to have a "top-secret meeting" with him.

Leto said meeting him was a rewarding experience, and he liked playing Neumann.

"It was the longest and the most amount of material I've ever had in my life. Selfishly, I loved it," he said of the role.

For Seyfried, she's also proud of playing Holmes in the series, but she found the situation a bit "messy" because the show premiered as the embattled researcher was being sentenced.

In a similar case to the Jared Leto, Julia Garner met the character she was playing for the hit Netflix series "Inventing Anna."

The actress came face to face with Anna Delvey/Sorokin, one of New York City's most notorious con artists. She mentioned that the embattled socialite was "bubbly."

Despite her wrong-doings, Garner said she recognized her human qualities.
