Amanda Seyfried has managed to stay under the celebrity radar and true to herself even through a long-lasting, immensely successful acting career.

She has remained so much herself that she even became a doula.

Amanda Seyfried has recently made a return to the limelight with her exceptional performance as Elizabeth Holmes in the Hulu series The Dropout. Even still, Seyfried reflects, she is not recognized with the same consistency that other celebrities face. From Mean Girls to Mama Mia, the star has been able to live a relatively normal life. For that, she is incredibly grateful.

In an interview with Marie Claire, the star shared:

"Fame is weird...I've never been super famous. I've always been somewhat recognizable. It's been the healthiest trajectory. [It's] not a scary spike. I have my priorities. I know who I am. I know where I'm going. I know what it means. It means that I'm getting to do what I love...I'm actually not afraid of it now."

Her freedom has allowed her to explore many things that she has a genuine interest in - including becoming a doula.

After giving birth to her first child, Seyfried was absolutely facinated by the childbirth experience. From that point, she trained to become a doula: A professional who helps people during the birth process.

Seyfried explained excitedly that after giving birth to her son, "I was like, This is the most amazing thing I've ever been a part of. I have to be there for women; childbirth is amazing...I was talking to my doula a lot about what she did. I was like, That sounds like the best thing, and I just wanted to be there when people have a baby."
