Actor-turned-stuntman Tom Cruise has risked his life for the sake of his films plenty of times during the latter half of his career, and shows no signs of stopping. But what makes his harrowing claim to fame even more spectacular is that the man is still thrilling fans with death defying feats right into his 60s.

That's right, folks. Tom Cruise just turned 60 on Sunday!

In honor of the Top Gun: Maverick star proving that "Over The Hill" is just a state of mind, celebrity friends have been dropping well wishes on Twitter for Cruise. His high flying co-star of both Top Gun films, the always intriguing Val Kilmer, posted a Happy Birthday message for his former wingman which simply read,

"Happy Birthday Mav @TomCruise from Ice !"

Leave it to Ice Man to be the coolest friend a guy could have.

His other Top Gun: Maverick co-star Glen Powell, posted a Tweet which reads:

"This is 60. TC, there is just no one like you. Keep hangin' in there. Happy Birthday! ⁦@TomCruise"

The post was accompanied by an aerial stunt, where Tom Cruise is holding on to the wings of a bi-plane as it is going into a barrel roll from his next film Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part 1.

60 and hanging from planes; Having the number 1 movie so far this year and said movie breaking a billion dollars world-wide. This is definitely a Happy Birthday for Tom Cruise.
