Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck shocked fans when they announced their marriage.

But, while the pair exchanged vows after more than a year of rekindling their love, Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner was enjoying some peace and quiet.

According to her Instagram Story (via ET), the 50-year-old "Alias" actress spent the weekend at Lake Tahoe, California.

She enjoyed the breathtaking environment while paragliding and even uploaded a photo of herself smiling while bicycling near the lake.

Garner was also seen driving her black BMW vehicle around Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail.

Garner married Affleck in 2005, a year after his public break up from Lopez. The couple was married for twelve years and had three children before announcing their divorce in 2015.

Their divorce was formalized in 2018.

Jennifer Garner quickly became a popular topic online following the announcement of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's wedding, receiving numerous well-wishes from fans.

"Jennifer Garner is prospering and stress-free since her ex-husband is no longer her concern," one Twitter user commented.

"Jennifer, wherever you are, please know that a random British woman is thinking of you and hoping you are living, flourishing, and having a ball," added another.

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Wedding Details

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez traveled to Las Vegas for a drive-through wedding ceremony at the Little White Chapel on Saturday at midnight, with their respective children in attendance.

They celebrated a "twenty-year patient" love, as Lopez disclosed in her newsletter, "On the J Lo."

In the letter, she described the day's events, informing readers that she, Affleck, and their two children, Emme and Max, went to Las Vegas on Saturday to receive their marriage license, and they married later that night.

The "On the Floor" singer described it as the "greatest conceivable wedding we could have dreamed," and added that they even utilized a Bluetooth speaker to play their wedding march.

Both celebs kept their wedding day looks basic by using existing pieces from their wardrobes.

Lopez's stylist Chris Appleton posted a video on social media of the "Maid in Manhattan" actress wearing a floor-length white gown, while the "Daredevil" star donned a white tuxedo from his closet.

They said their vows in the chapel and "gave each other the items we'll wear for the rest of our lives."

Lopez and Affleck were a well-known "it" couple in the early 2000s, frequently appearing on tabloid covers. They got engaged in 2002 and split up in 2004 before marrying.
