Drag is indeed all over the world according to Mama Ru as "Drag Race" star Shea Couleé is the latest addition to an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series. More recently, the drag queen spoke out about the big news as fans try to piece together which character is she playing.

According to People Magazine, the "RuPaul's Drag Race" All Stars 5 crowned-queen was cast in the series "Ironheart."

As of this writing, details about her character remain a mystery and it's unclear whether she'll be dressed in drag the whole time for the role.

In a statement, the Chicago-based performer expressed her gratitude over the thrilling news, saying acting was her first love before doing drag and she's excited to be filming the upcoming project.

She added that the announcement is fitting to end her "Drag Race" journey and start a new chapter in her acting career.

Couleé had just competed in an all-winners season of the show which ended last week. She made it to the finale as one of the four finalists. Ultimately, season 5's Jinx Monsoon got the title of "Queen of All Queens."

The drag queen continued, "Stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been like stepping into OZ. 'Ironheart' is top to bottom going to be an absolutely STUNNING experience for the viewers."

Concluding her post, the performer said she's humbled every day that she gets to work with some of the best people in the TV industry.

She later thanked her fans for the support throughout her journey and she can't wait to share the project with everyone.

What Role Would Shea Couleé Play in 'Ironheart?'

Details behind the plot of "Ironheart" and its characters remain private, but many fans alleged she'll be playing a superhero named Darkveil, formerly known as Shade.

"I think that Shea will play "Shade" the first Marvel's Superhero Drag Queen!" a "Drag Race" fan account wrote.

One fan is hopeful that Couleé's appearance isn't just a "campy cameo" and they're looking forward to seeing her in future Marvel shows and movies.

In a previous interview with World of Wonder, Marvel writer Sina Grace noted that the character Darkveil was inspired by several "Drag Race" alumni like Monét X Change, The Vixen, Dax Exclamation Point, and Couleé herself.
