Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's split has been subject to different rumors.

Kardashian and Davidson did not last for a year as E! News confirmed their split this year. They started dating in October 2021 following their kiss in one of "Saturday Night Live" skits.

While they have not addressed their split yet, more theories surrounding their breakup.

One of which disclosed that the breakup had something to do with the tensions between their families.

A source recently revealed that both the comedian's mother and sister hated the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star. It resonated with what Life & Style Magazine reported earlier this year, saying that Davidson's mother, Amy, did not like Kardashian when they met on Staten Island in December.

The matriarch feared the future of her son since the KKW Beauty mogul has "an uphill battle ahead of her." Its source added that Amy hated all the problems that Kardashian might cause. Due to the issues the TV personality and West faced previously, Amy was reportedly worried about what Davidson was getting himself into.

"Amy would rather her son settle down with someone who doesn't already have four kids," the source went on. "Pete adores his mother, but he's never really asked her for dating advice and isn't going to start now."

Davidson has been known as a "mama's boy" as he often opens up about his close relationship with Amy and his younger sister, Casey. The actor initially lived in Staten Island until he moved out in April 2021.

Are Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Back Together?

An insider said that Kardashian and Davidson decided to break up due to their distance and hectic schedules.

"They have a lot of love and respect for each other. But [they] found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship," the source said.

Still, it sparked rumors that their breakup was due to Kardashian's relationship with Kanye West.

The "Jesus is King" rapper recently deleted all his Instagram posts, including the ones about his ex-wife. With that, fans quickly assumed that he and Kardashian are back together. They also presented more clues to prove the estranged couple's potential reunion.

However, Kardashian's lawyer, Laura Wasser revealed last week that the exes were working things out.

"The parties are getting along and communicating, but where we are right now is, from [Kim's] perspective, we would like to get Mr West's declaration of disclosure and close the case," the lawyer said.
