Former SNL star Pete Davidson is reportedly seeking trauma therapy after a history of online harassment from rap icon Kanye West.

Following the reported breakup of Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian, the Yeezy founder posted the now-deleted Instagram post of an edited newspaper, with "SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28" headlined in bold. Both Kardashian's and Davidson's teams contacted Instagram about the post which has since been removed.

PEOPLE reported that a source says Davidson "has been in trauma therapy in large part" due to West's persistent bullying ever since dating rumors between Pete and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian sparked last year.

"The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help," the source added.

Not surprisingly, this isn't the first time that West bullied Davidson. The rapper openly disses the comedian at every chance, and the timeline of their mostly one-sided feud dates back to as early as 2018. Notably, Pete had only been vocal about his frustration with the rapper in a series of leaked texts:

"It's not an easy journey, you don't have to feel this way anymore. There's no shame in having a little help. You'll be so happy and at peace. I have your back even though you treat me like s-t because I want everything to be smooth." Davidson texted. "But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months I'm gonna stop being so nice."

The source claims that West's frequent attacks on the platform are one reason why Davidson has "been absent from social media."

Breakup With Kim Kardashian To Blame?

Meanwhile, EW reports that a source close to the Kardashian confirmed that Davidson's decision to seek trauma therapy had nothing to do with their recent fall out.

According to PEOPLE's source, the 28-year-old comedian "has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she's been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship."

As for the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star, a close source said that Kim "does not tolerate this type of behavior from Kanye".

With this messy feud finally (and hopefully) coming to an end, Davidson will be focusing on his acting career, moving forward. He'll next be seen in this year's upcoming horror comedy "Bodies Bodies Bodies" and 2023 comedy film "Wizards".
